| Hyundai's big Santa Fe 4x4 has always been something of an oddball. Not just because of its unconventional looks, but because of its size. The latest Tucson is less bulky and much prettier. Inside, there's class-leading head and legroom, with a neat and easy-to-use dashboard, which also houses the gear lever. It's practical too, with the rear seat backs and floor covered in wipe-clean plastic, plus bag hooks in the seatbacks. Two trim levels are GSI and CDX. Standard equipment includes front, side and curtain airbags, ABS brakes, traction control, sunroof and a CD player. Drivers who wear softroaders like the latest fashion accessories won't like the badge, but this is a well-priced SUV with lots going for it. |
